A writer. A dreamer. A connoisseur of coffee creamer.

My name is Dylan Tepper-Black. As a writer first, person second, I've committed my life to the act of crafting stories. Stories have always held a fond place in my heart. I grew up on books such as Frank Herbert's Dune, and Micheal Crichton's Jurassic Park, thrilling stories that had gripped me with their imaginative worlds and steller plots. From the moment I turned the first pages, I felt an impassioned thrumming in my soul and knew what my life's purpose was. In my off time, I began to write a selection of short stories, poems, and work in progress novels. Many of these would unfortuantely lead to dead ends, but others would flourish to become much more.

I studied creative writing at OCAD University, working as a dockhand for a private trucking company when I wasn't in class. Eventually, my boss offered me a position as a volunteer content writer for the website. This kickstarted my journey as a writer, and upon graduation with a diploma and a physical book I created for thesis, I was ready to follow my passion with all the eagerness of a swan in courtship.

Now I work as a copywriter for a private equity firm, using the skills and techniques I've picked up from experience to produce thought-provoking content that doesn't just sell you on products and services, it sells you on stories.
